Our SalsaS

Our salsas are a culmination of Mexico City's traditional salsas with a SoCal twist. We use the freshest ingredients we can find, local when possible and all of our salsas are produced weekly in small batches. We offer several seasonal varieties highlighting the seasonality of the ingredients. 
 

 
 
 

Diablo 

Our Diablo Salsa is our classic, jalepeño-inspired, dark red chipotle salsa. It is a savory salsa with a little sweetness and a touch of smoke and comes in mild, medium, or hot. 

Pairs well with: eggs, pizza, and outdoor concerts or a picnic at the park

 
 
 

Special Reserve

This is a restaurant–style salsa made with roasted tomatoes, onions, garlic, cilantro, and three kinds of peppers. Inspired by the flavors of yellow and jalapeño peppers.  Available in medium and hot.

PAIRS WELL WITH: crispy tortilla chips with melted cheese, carnitas, beans, veggies, and guac. AKA Nachos.

This salsa has just about everything you would ever want in a salsa including the three hottest peppers in the world: Carolina Reaper, Ghost, Trinidad Scorpion,  jalepeños, Japanese peppers, Chinese five-color peppers, banana, Thai, Anaheim, Poblano peppers, plus a dash of local Jerry-Lynn's honey.

Pairs well: smothered on a cheese pizza while sitting on the back porch watching the stars with your sweetie. Keep a glass of milk on hand, things might get spicey. 

 
 
 

Beehive Buzz

Made with La Barba cold brew coffee and local honey, this salsa is a bright pick-me-up, borderline savory mole. Guajio and pasilla pepper inspired. 

PAIRS WELL WITH: white cheddar omelets topped with cotija cheese and micro greens and a big cup of La Barba Coffee first thing in the morning.

 
 
 

Poblano Pumpkin Pesto

Our most popular pesto comes nut-free and is made with pumpkin seeds, poblano peppers, cilantro, cream cheese, lemon and lime juices, and spices. This pesto only comes in light-medium. 

PAIRS WELL WITH: an everything bagel from the Bagel Project on a lazy saturday morning.

 
 
 

Cilantro, Lime, Jalepeño, & Basil Pesto

This pesto is bright, fresh, with a kick of lime. A nut-free pesto, it is made with basil, cream cheese, pumpkin seeds, parmesan cheese, lime and lemon juices, cilantro, jalepeño and spices.

Cashew Dream

Our vegan cashew sauce is smooth, smokey and goes with almost anything. Comes in medium heat only. Chipotle en adobe inspired.

Fresh avocados, tomatillos, serrano peppers, lime and lemon juices, garlic and spices blended into a smooth and tangy guacamole.
